I am a givenergy user, solar inverter, battery, ev charger. Given it's collapse and the likely collapse of givenergy software Ltd, I want yo move from their software to an alternative.

As I am a newbie at this, could someone give me some guidance ?

If i bought a homeassistant green device, can I then use it for local control of my inverter, and ev charger ?

I guess this will be a common concern for non experts like me, so hoping the answer is "yes".

I have a fiamma awning and a zip privacy room. I have found in high winds (>20mph) the fastclip system that locks onto the side of the canopy material can slip , allowing the canopy material to pull free.

Any one else had this issue, and any tips on how to prevent it ? Would putting grip tape on the aluminium fastclip surfaces help ?
