I’m stuck between getting an R6 MKii or the A7IV I wanting to shoot both video and photography and might take videography more seriously down the line so an decent upgrade path would be beneficial with the potential upgrade to something like the fx3 or c50 in the future but not knowing which system to go forward with. I shoot a lot of wildlife, landscape, street and travel bits so I’d benefit from something that shoots fast but is also good a video work. I like the idea that Sony has the open lens system and having more cheaper alternatives to lenses and I know canon does not have this ability and your stuck with the expensive canon glass. I currently use cannon at the moment having a canon rp a 100-400 f5.6 - 8 and a 50mm f1.8 but I’m stuck with the lack of video feature on the rp with its slow auto focus and heavy crop in 4k. I don’t mind swapping to Sony or staying with cannon I’m just stuck deciding which camera is the better choice at the moment and in the long run as I’m not wanting to choice one system now and swap to another in the future.
