To be honest, Starbreeze should have made the masks of the five original characters faithful to their live-action versions.

I have to admit they made some good models for Payday 3, especially Houston's mask. Even so, they should have made them more faithful to the live-action versions shown over the years. Hell, even the masks of the four original of PDTH characters, while ugly, were at least almost faithful to the live-action material.

The community should create an all-class taunt that uses animations from the 9 mercenaries based on Meet the Team.

I honestly wish I had this so I could see Engie playing guitar, or Spy smoking like in Meet the Spy.

Fun fact: The original five are the only characters in Payday 2 who have extra voice lines when repairing drills, picking up keycards, running out of cable ties, and when stealth fails and the game enters the control phase.

the only game in the series that does not have a canon ending

Fallout 1 ended with the destruction of the master and the subsequent hunt for the rest of his army and the birth of the NCR

Fallout 2 depicted the social progress in California and the West Coast 80 years after the first game, showing how the NCR had become a nation, and the destruction of the West Coast enclave by the Chosen One.

Fallout Tactics ended with the destruction of the calculator and how the Midwest BoS wouldn't let a weapon like the calculator fall into the wrong hands, and into their own, expanding their empire and consolidating themselves as the power of the center of the country and the first nation pre NCR

Fallout 3 ended with the activation of Project Purity and the fall of the Enclave at Addams Air Force Base at the hands of the East Coast BoS and the Lone Wanderer

Amazon's Season 1 made it clear that there was a victory, possibly of the BoS against the Institute or of the Minutemen against the Institute

And yet Amazon and Bethesda left NV as the only game without a canon ending, using the flimsy excuse that they wouldn't canonize anything because the community and fandom would get angry. This isn't true, given that the NV fandom has been debating a canon ending for 16 years, only for Amazon to decide to kill everyone off in Season 2 and leave everything ambiguous.

The only thing I don't like about Season 2 is this: leaving ambiguous something that the community had been debating and waiting for for over 16 years, regardless of the player's decisions, and only canonizing one ending.

I just hope that for Season 3 they at least retract this and mention what happened at the Hoover Dam in 2281 and who really won.
