Pick any topic (QA/DILR/VARC) and explain it like you're teaching a beginner.
No jargon, no overcomplication.
Let's build a simple concept bank.

Drop your plan for this week:
Sections
Hours
Targets
Will come back at the end of the week and see who followed through.
Simple chain:
-> Person A drops doubt
-> Person B tries solving
-> Others correct if needed
Let’s help each other instead of waiting for coaching.
Realistically not everyone converts.
If you’re expecting waitlist:
What’s your profile?
Backup plans?
Which other calls do you have?
Trying to see how people are thinking about this.
Feel like this isn’t said openly.
From what I’ve seen:
->Top roles go to top profiles
->Batch size = heavy competition
->Many end up with average roles
Not saying it’s bad just not as rosy as people think.
Curious if people agree or I’m off here?
-> Seen the campus pics, looks insane.
-> But what's daily life like?
Room conditions
Food
Rules
Reality vs expectation
Instead of generic advice, let's make this useful.
If you've given interviews:
What were you asked?
Where did you mess up?
What caught you off guard?
This will help way more than "be confident" type advice.
Let's make one proper thread instead of scattered posts.
Drop:
CAT %ile
Acads (10/12/grad)
Work ex (if any)
Calls converted / waiting
Also mention if you're targeting IIM Indore specifically.
Let's see where everyone stands.

Applied for iim indore waiting for results just wanted to know few things.
I need 20 marks in interview for converting as per vercel, with an average Interview is this score achievable?
when does placecom selection start and insights into the process like number 9f rounds etc
important clubs to join
will cfa level 1 be enough or should I try for cfa level 2 certificate? How many students of batch approximately cleared cfa level 1?
which courses to focus on and certificates for better placement opportunities in finance or operations?
how is hiring in operations domain?
Have a few photos/videos of the campus, dropping them here -
If anyone else has campus pics/videos (fests, hostels, classrooms, placements boards, anything real), drop them below.
Let’s build a real visual thread of the campus not the brochure version
Just putting together what I found from the official report + LinkedIn + random threads.
If anyone from IIM Indore is here, feel free to correct things.
Numbers (don’t get misled)
Avg CTC: ~30–35 LPA
Median: ~25–27 LPA
The gap matters.
Average looks sexy because of a few really high offers.
Most people are going to be closer to the median, not the average.
Roles people actually get
From what I could find, main buckets are:
-Consulting (BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture etc.)
-Finance (but core finance roles are limited)
-Product / analytics
-Sales & marketing / general management
Reality:
Consulting = competitive af
Front-end finance = very few seats
A lot of people end up in sales/GM roles (not bad, just reality)
Recruiters you’ll keep seeing
BCG / Bain / McKinsey (very limited intake)
Deloitte, Accenture
Goldman Sachs (select roles)
HUL, P&G
Startups hiring for PM/ops
Stuff no one says openly
Not everyone is getting 30L+
Top roles go to top profiles (acads + work ex + spikes)
Batch size = more competition
You’re competing with seriously smart people
Compared to older IIMs (A/B/C)
Still strong, but:
Slightly fewer elite consulting/finance roles
You need to hustle more for top-tier stuff
