Fridges are getting bigger /wider but Fridge cavity is getting smaller

House hunting and it came to my attention that we would have to sell our fridge to get a new one to fit the fridge cavity as they're getting smaller each day 😫

How do I get used to a smaller fridge after having such a big fridge for 10 years? 🤔

Ps I know i can keep my fridge in the garage

Do you feel like no one is doing their job right?

My in laws are moving out of the property next week and they have organised a disconnection of gas ,water, electricity, internet etc ... they're vacating the property right .

Tell me why 2 days later someone from the property management (not the property manager ) is emailing to see why don't they have a connection to water account? Like wtf, ?

Mind you the property manager is cc on the email too .

Like there's no communication within the team , surely they're on the system that they're leaving as the property is actually now being taken over ( put up for sale ) by a different agency .

I don't know maybe I'm just getting frustrated for no reason here

Me again haha

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question this is all new to us and with new changes coming into place I have no idea how to move forward.

We own the property we currently live, the idea was to rent this place out and buy a PROR and this becomes investment property. Now with these changes to negative gearing etc is this something we can still do given that we are not making an investment purchase but rather turn the existing house into the investment one.

Thanks in advance

North or East Melbourne?

I was set on buying a property eastern suburbs or south-east Melbourne and for the money (1.5mil) you get an old house or a tinny town house, the more I search i feel I'd get more value for money in suburbs like Glenroy, mill Park etc vs Rowvile or Croydon , at least I'd get over 500m2 new house with a pool for under 1.5mil in northern suburbs vs old (needs renovation) and small house on the other side

I'm so torn 😫

Ps: this is not an investment opportunity

Since my kids started school we have always paid the school fees (public school) and speaking to some people I learnt that not everyone pays them .

You would think if you can afford it why wouldn't you pay the school fees, however all these people can afford to pay and choose not to.

Do you pay the school fees ? Why -why not?

Our clinic offers free, immediate treatment for non-life-threatening conditions, providing priority care without the need for emergency department visits or when your medical need cannot wait for a GP appointment. Our urgent care clinic is supported by highly skilled independent doctors and nurses, utilising excellent treatment and procedure room facilities.

Not sure if everywhere is the same but our local Urgent care starts sending people away (mostly directs them to ER) at 6pm (they're open until 10pm) and they're constantly reminding patients that only one doctor is available for the whole day.

My understanding is that urgent care is also there to help ease pressure from ER but how do they think they're achieving this by having one doctor at all times.

It doesn't make sense to me , no wonder ER is always under pressure
