Hello Guys. So I’ve been talking for a while to a Muslim Indonesian woman who lives in Jakarta, and today I found out that she is not a virgin. I’m also Muslim, and this situation surprised me quite a lot. When I asked her how she could both be Muslim and have had premarital sex, she gave me some very strange answers. The message she sent is below:

“Why you call me not Muslim? Why you tell me not Muslim? How you know I'm not Muslim??! I did mistake make sex with that foreigner guy. But after every time, I cry. I also pray everyday. I believe Allah. I pray 5 times a day. You can't decide if me Muslim or not! I'm Muslim!!”

I’m wondering whether this situation is considered normal in Indonesia. As Muslim men, would you marry a girl if you knew she had premarital sex?
