As a FL resident, I can buy tickets for December for my family of four for $1,851.48
I can also reserve 5 nights in a studio at Beach Club Villa for $5,057

On the website this is bundled $10,695.

What am I missing here? Is it cheaper for me to book these separately, or should I put $200 down to book the package and hope there is a discount that I can apply later?

I noticed FL resident and current rates are for spring/summer. Can we expect prices to drop for Winter/Christmas, or is the price I'm seeing what it will most likely be?
