feel like im going crazy

ive been in a defecit for over 6 months and havent lost a pound. ive been eating at 1,200-1,500 cals a day. my maintenance is around 1,850-2,000... I would say i even eat as low as 500 cals some days. i dont binge. i get 4-6k steps a day and workout for 30 mins to an hour 1-2x a week at the gym. i know i dont have a rigorous exercise routine… but shouldn’t i be losing weight just from being in a defecit?? what am i doing wrong? and i promise im definitely not eating above my maintenance 😭 please give advice! should i cut more calories? reverse diet?
