First Mammogram Findings
My mind is going crazy even though this seems pretty straight forward. What if the calcification is actually not benign. Do I ask for a biopsy anyway?
MAMMOGRAM FINDINGS: There are scattered areas of fibroglandular densities. There is a small mass with a coarse benign calcification in the left upper outer quadrant middle to posterior depth which is considered benign. There are no significant masses, architectural distortion or suspicious calcifications. IMPRESSION: There is no evidence of malignancy. RECOMMENDATION: Routine screening mammogram at age 40.
