Not sure if this helps anyone but — if you’re moving to Germany and need a bank account, I’ve been really happy with ING. The app just works, standing orders are dead easy to set up, and there’s a €200 signup bonus through referral links at the moment.
I use one for me, one for my shared flat, never had a negative issue.
