US copy trading
Hey all -
I am US-based. Running a copy-trade setup for an FXIFY challenge:
- Master: MT5 on VPS, running a Forex EA (single position per
symbol, no hedging, no grid)
- Bridge: Duplikium (requires MT4/MT5 master)
- Slave: FXIFY DXTrade
Master was on MetaQuotes-Demo; EA author confirmed that's a quote-only
environment, not real trading — so I need to swap.
Problem: most offshore MT5 brokers (IC Markets, Pepperstone, etc.) block
US residents at signup. OANDA US has no MT5. That leaves:
- Forex.com US MT5 — US-regulated, FIFO + no-hedging enforced. My EA's
one-position-per-symbol design should make those restrictions
irrelevant in practice, but I haven't tested.
- Coinexx — accepts US, unregulated, mixed reviews.
Has anyone actually run a single-position EA on FOREX.com US MT5? Did
FIFO/no-hedging cause any real friction, or is it a non-issue when the
strategy never doubles up on a symbol?
Any other US-accessible MT5 brokers worth looking at?
