▲ 3 r/Debt

Hello, I’m a 26 year old caulk head..

I recently fell into some bad spending habits and opened up 4 credit cards after I was advised not to. Currently I just had my first child, with a semi part time gig in a hospital with great benefits. I’m scrolling through some of these posts & im actually quite relieved I’m not crazy in debt like the most of you. I’m looking for options and ideas on how to relieve some of this debt.

If I am honest I completely abandoned all 4 of these cards. I stopped paying after going into brain surgery for a pituitary tumor. I owe just about 5k in cc debt.

I’ve been getting the calls everyday and what not but chose not to verify the debt. Also I’m sure I have the discover card being ready to get charged off.. Just about a couple of months after I had my surgery I tried to do some type of payment plan on all 4 of these cards & dished out about 100-150 on each card a month, but noticed nothing was changing! So I said chuck it in the fuck it bucket and completely ignored everything.

I know what I’m doing is terrible but I’d like to fix it up as my child is getting out of that newborn stage and I don’t wanna end up fucking my life more than it already is.

I know the debt isnt as hefty as others but it’d like to fix this..

Any tips? Thoughts, and criticism haha
