F1 Visa under 221g

I had my interview today at the Hyderabad consulate. They asked me a few questions about my university. Why I chose it and how long the course is. After that, they asked me about my social media accounts. I had LinkedIn and Instagram and I mentioned them. But my Instagram was private at the moment. They gave me back my passport and gave me a 221g form and the officer wrote on it that I need to make my account public and send an email to the one mentioned in the form.
I have sent the email and awaiting response from them. Currently, my status in the ceac website shows as Refused.
Has anyone gone through the same thing or knows anything about this?
I will update once I receive an email.
UPDATE : I received a mail the same day asking me to submit my passport at the Visa application center. I have done that. Now it's a matter of waiting for the final mail.
