Loudness and microphone technique?
So, I'm experimenting with mastering my own demo and I came across this video:

So, in recording, I'm not supposed to go over -6 db on my loudness meter? What if some of my material just calls for more volume? Like a scene where a character is angry or even furious?
What's your approach?
