Tough PT today, right? You made it through, though. Did a good job. Time to head on in and hit the shower. Long day ahead. You get your stall and get set up only to see you forgot your soap.

But don’t worry troop. I got you.

Look up on that little shelf. There’s a tiny bottle just for you. Might be Dove. Could be Irish Spring. Maybe it’s Head & Shoulders.

It’s there for you.

Go ahead and use it. I don’t mind. In fact I leave them around post just for guys like you. Just to help you out. I buy tons of the things. Bundles, baskets, boxes. Loads.

It’s kind of like a little charity project. Just paying it forward. I’ve got a whole drawer full of them in the barracks. Shampoo, conditioner, soap. Lotion.

You’ve got that meeting today. Can’t just rinse off, you’ll start smelling the second you get warm. Go ahead and use that little bottle. Why not?

It’s for you.

You can take it with you. You can leave it there for everyone. You can use the whole thing. It’s yours. It’s a gift. Please, go ahead.

Don’t worry, troop. I’ve got you covered. Absolutely covered.

Sure do love having PT at 0500. It’s so worth it to be done by 0600 and then have three fucking hours before work starts. I love it. The only way this could be better is if we made PT so erratic that I couldn’t possibly actually gain fitness. Nothing like waking up at 0400 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday all while doing one actual workout. It’s great
