Need Help - Corroded Fence Post Footing Repair
Hi folks, hoping to get some advice regarding doing a DIY repair for this corroded colourbond fence post footing that's causing my fence to lean with the direction of the wind. Located in the Melbourne's west side and don't really want to spend too much on the fix ideally.
The footing of the post has completely corroded all of the outer section of the footing so that its only attached in the middle that joins the two panels(bars?).
Was hoping the fix would be as simple as removing as much concrete as I can from the footing and then doing a fresh pour all the way to as high as I can for the fence post above the ground.
Open to other suggestions but just wanted to see if my idea is good to go ahead with or if I need to replace the post entirely.
Cheers
