Hi all,

I've been offered representation by a local gallery in my city. I have shown with them a couple times including a solo show which was well received. We have a great working relationship and they are now offering to represent me and present my work at a major art fair next year.

I just wanted to get some advice from fellow artists on what kinds of things should be discussed during negotiation about representation. Obviously the % of the fee from sales but is there anything else (e.g how often they show me? payment terms?). I would like to go into the discussion confident and with a clear idea about how this can be a mutually beneficial relationship. Also any pitfalls to be aware of.
