My background is that I have been in a qualified PSLF past 8 years. Been on SAVE forbearance since it has been initiated. Haven’t touched my account ever since. Certified my PSLF last month. Got two kids and did my taxes in January and filed jointly. We are fortunate that we both got promotions in 2025 and have high paying jobs now.

With how this administration going my plan is to wait till July 1st and see what happens, then wait the 90 days after and see where we stand. Last resort is to switch to PAYE and do taxes in January 2027 and file separately.

Anyone else is like a similar boat?
