Any idea what this is? Seems to be on top of the waxy layer. I can scrape it with a finger nail. It is definitively spreading over time, across pants (though only my cactus), and darkening in tan/brown. Maybe stress of fungus?

Also, I tried to save a few top cutting before it reached, think those are safe?
