I finally went ahead and purchased 2 SoundLink Flex Gen 2 speakers with the hope of linking them together as Stereo Left and Right, and then group them together with my Smart Soundbar for a makeshift 5.1 system with my wireless surrounds and subwoofer…
To my delight, it works well enough to feel like a real upgrade! With the right placement, it REALLY fills the living room with sound, and the stereo of it all is quite a treat, especially with movies.
Anyone else rock this set up? Just have to make sure to link the Soundflex and THEN group with the Soundbar. It’s a bit of additional set up, but I have a projector with motorized screen, so I just do all the linking and placing while it comes down in to place. Anyway, I’m pretty chuffed. Sounds great.
