Can anyone provide me some information on these coins/jewelry?
Hello! So I received these from my grandparents who are originally from Tehran. My grandfather collected a bunch of coins and stuff like this back in the day, and I have no reason to belive anything here is fake.
I did some research on my own and it seems like the coins on the bracelet are 1975 iranian 1/4 pahlavi coins. The bracelet part is 18k gold. I assume the rings are also 18k gold although it does not say.
Although what’s puzzling is the 1975 iranian 1/4 pahlavi appear to be the smallest size of this coin, but the coins on the rings are all consistent in size and smaller than the ones on the bracelet. I tried to measure and weigh them as best as I could, and the coins on the bracelet appear to be 16mm and 2.1g about.
Anyways, no intention of selling these because I think they’re stunning but I was wondering if anyone could maybe tell me anything about these coins, maybe hep me with the confusion I have regarding the size difference, and possibly even give me a value for each piece. I know it’s hard to say from pictures, but here’s the weight for each:
- 36g bracelet
- 8.3 for one ring
- 8.7 for the ring with chains
