Im creating this post for more context and help.

I switched from windows 10 to linux mint recently along with changing out my gpu and psu out. Switch from Nvidia to AMD

I initially tried to download steam from the software manager but kept getting error codes that i posted in the first post. I was suggested to download the deb files from steam directly and went to do that but still get the same issue, and it seems to be the same files not being able to be downloaded.

I was also told that ubuntu servers are under a ddos attack so it might be that, but i recently went to try to download steam off my wife's laptop and it downloads perfectly fine from the software manager.

I recently converted from windows 10 to Linux mint and managed to download most of what i was looking to download but the last thing i needed was steam, but it doesn't download and gives me this error.

From what i understand, is this a server sided issue and i just have to wait or is this something i have to fix on my side of things?

I tried multiple ways, downloading through the terminal, from steam itself but all led to different issues and i ended up having to use "sudo apt purge --autoremove steam-launcher" to get the software manager to work again for steam.
