I'm writing a research paper on "The Fallen Angel" painting and have been trying to find a proper source for this information, but any mention of it I see doesn't offer a source.

The only thing close was when I checked the museum's catalogue and found the work file that had this in it: Gillet’s Article in *La Revue des deux Mondes*: On the Influence of Milton’s *Paradise Lost*.

I also tried searching this up to see if I could read it and maybe find where the museum got this from (since the museum says it's inspired by Paradise Lost too), but it didn't pull up much.

Any help or advice will be appreciated!
