I’ve been a part of this hobby for 9 years and today I officially did my first flight on Vatsim. Wow was I nervous, but I did well! 😂 I had a few moments of confusion from atc call outs but I worked through it and got it done. How rewarding! Ended it with a -130 landing into KSAN. Onto the next flight!

Hey everyone I am new to Vatsim and when I speak into my mic, I hear myself in my headphones. How do I correct this so I don’t hear myself?

It seems no matter the set up the car whether its loose, tight, or custom when entering turns the car wants to ride up into the wall. The front end doesn’t want to turn. To avoid it I usually have to lay way (too far) off the gas or hit the breaks but in doing so, the field just passes me by. What is the key here?

Does anyone else fly with Vatsim in observer mode? Especially those of us who aren’t comfortable with being fully on the network yet. This way (for now) I at least have audio and other aircraft visuals. Coming from Say Intentions, I just couldn’t do the AI atc anymore. Hoping to get the courage soon to fully connect and join the community. I feel like it’ll be soon.
