Looking for opinions on my situation as I reevaluate my current cut:
Started my cut March 1st and have been consistently dropping weight and sticking to my macros & workout routine. I’m now down to my low weight from last year’s cut, so I’ve successfully shred the fat I gained from my Winter bulking phase & feeling very proud about this accomplishment! I would still like to lose roughly 10 more pounds of fat to get as lean as I’ve ever been this summer.
My question is where to go from here? The way I see it, I have 3 options:
Continue this pace and continue what I’m doing
Take a 1-2 week maintenance break and then get back on track
Slightly increase my calories and take a less-aggressive approach to the rest of the cut
I haven’t been struggling too much with my current pace but I can definitely feel the mental & physical fatigue starting to come on. The idea of doing some maintenance or upping my calories a bit makes me excited but I also don’t want to ruin something that’s still working & going to plan. I really like all of the meals I get to have on my cut, but I would definitely appreciate slightly more of them/a bigger portion of each meal!
So, what would you do? Any insights and opinions are welcomed! Maybe you have an idea or opinion I haven’t considered :)
