Hello fellow VfB fans. Just wanted to put this out here for a little discussion on our goalkeeper situation for the next season. And see who you think should be our number 1 in goal next season.
- Alexander Nubel
Current Goalkeeper on loan from Bayern for 2 season. Very expensive salary with €10 million+ transfer fee. Although he is a very competent keeper, I feel like for the price we would pay It is ultimately not worth it.
- Denis Seimen
Killing it with Paderborn in 2. Bundesliga (expect for that last match wth happen?) 20 years old, no transfer fee, smaller salary then Nubel by far. (Helpful to keep players like Undav) I think should be our number one next year.
- Florian Hellstern
Playing with VfB II in 3. Liga. Captain of UEFA youth league team a few seasons ago. Has been played quite well in the 3. Liga. Has been called up to senior squad for a few of our Europa league games. Would like to see a loan move to a 2nd tier side but if Nubel and Seimen someone become unavailable or uninterested would be a solid pick.
- Fabian Bradlow
Was alright as our first choice but nothing special. Seems like a great locker room guy for the team and a great mentor for either of the 2 young bucks
