As of right now, my dog is shaking from about the middle of his body down. He’s older, and during previous vet visits, they’ve mentioned that his back is aging and to be gentle with him, but nothing was diagnosed as seriously wrong.
He does have a history of eating fabric (toys, clothes, etc.), but we’re very careful to keep those items out of reach, so we don’t believe he’s ingested anything recently. In the past, he did need surgery to remove fabric from his intestines.
I’m trying to narrow down what could be causing this. From what I’ve read, shaking can be caused by things like pain or injury, cold, anxiety, or fear which I think could possibly be likely in his case.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar or has any insight. Thank you.
