Looking for slice advice
My miss is a slice, here’s an example - I’ve done some research and know I am likely not closing the face or coming over the top with an out to in path, and maybe even both at the same time. I think my natural swing is very steep. I am a novice - just had a few lessons as a kid then over a decade of hiatus.
I can hit relatively straight or a small fade around 50% of the time if I really slow things down, but looking for other tips. I do think “dropping the hands” to make things shallower also makes me lose control of the path quite a bit, and I’ll hit the mat way behind the ball (maybe the club gets “stuck behind”?). If you guys have tips or drills to avoid that and control a more shallow swing I would appreciate that. Or general advice if I’m not on the right track for the fix - thanks!
