I have had a severe peanut allergy since I was a baby. My older sibling had a nut allergy so my parents decided to test me as well. Because of this I did not eat nuts for the first 15 years of my life until I got tested again and saw I was now only allergic to peanuts. However my reaction to peanuts is very severe. Doctors have told me that I will most likely not get results from the medical trials and exposure. He said the best possible outcome is that I will not have a life threatening reaction from 0.1 gram. I have always known my allergy is severe but I never have really known what exactly would happen except that I would stop breathing. I know this is a case by case basis but I am really curious and want to learn more about my allergies
