Does the county communicate with banks as to who makes large cash payments for their tax bill? I wouldn't think they have any obligation on reporting. if I was to deposit cash into my bank later in the year, would that, plus the large cash payment putting me well over the threshold, look like suspicious activity? Or am I just overthinking this?
