I’m brand new to the game and only got it really for VR on PS5. I decided to crash my plane in Helensburgh in Scotland where I used to live, I got out the plane and I had a look around. I was absolutely blown out of my socks.. It’s like stepping into a place you know really well but it’s in a dream world. Where some things are not exactly as they should be, yet still completely recognisable. So here I am, I’m walking up this road that I used to cycle on all the time, ten years later I’m walking that same road in VR. I remember getting to the square and just being stunned at how faithful it all was to the real place. There’s the church, there’s the post office etc, I carried on and located my old flat. Honestly this game is quite possibly the greatest piece of entertainment ever created. I can’t wait to explore more tonight. The memories it provokes when I did live there. The feeling of stumbling across things you recognise so well is such an amazing feeling and very very satisfying. Well done devs. ❤️
