32F this is my first pregnancy that I'm carrying full term. My weight fluctuates between 282-286lbs, my blood sugar levels are between 68mg/dl-154mg/dl. I wake up at 3am to get ready for work by 6am and leave at 2pm. I've been trying to eat better from apples, cashews, wheat breads and string cheese. I'm in the beginning of my second trimester (14 weeks). I still have fatigue by the time I get home. I don't know what else to do regarding my blood sugar levels. They fluctuate at levels I can’t control no matter what I eat or how much I walk. On the daily I walk about 40 mins in total commuting to and from work and while on my lunch break. I don’t want my baby to have any issues throughout the rest of my pregnancy or any birth problems, I'm considering asking for metformin when I go in for my next appointment. I feel overwhelmed. It's as if nothing I do is helping prevent further issues during my pregnancy. For now, my baby is healthy and his heartbeat is normal. I don’t consume a lot of sugary products! I move around as much as possible especially walking 30 minutes to the gym on Saturdays! I drink plenty of water. I'm recording my blood sugar levels which isn't expected to be perfect but I wanted to do the best could before emailing them in. I don’t know what else to do.
