Hi friends, I'm having a rough time finding e-bikes that are suited for my needs, and was wondering if this sub could point me in the right direction. I'm in the market for a super simple e-bike that its around or under $750. I'll only be using it to make my trek to college back and forth, about ~10 miles roundtrip a few times a week, plus going around town leisurely. I live in a very flat region with well-maintained infrastructure for cyclists.
I stopped into a handful of bike shops near me and was met with lots of e-bikes that were, of course, out of my price range and had bells and whistles that I did not need. I do not need a screen display, automatic gear shifting, a heavyweight bike for mountainous regions, nor the ability to go 100 miles without charging as I will be able to charge it every night, just something simple haha.
If you're able able to recommend me brands, or have any tips on when e-bike brands have their sales and such, that would be very much appreciated!! :]
