Hi I am 16F. I am feeling really stuck about my education path and I would appreciate some advice.

I completed Year 10 in a selective high school and did pretty decent in most subjects with an average of 80-85% across all subjects and first in Math Standard. but I had to leave school because of health reasons. I am doing better now. I want to get back into studying. The thing is, I am overwhelmed by all the options that're available to me.

I am currently trying to decide between a few options. I am thinking about doing a Certificate III in Pathways to Further Study.. Maybe I will do the TPC. I am also thinking about starting a course on the side so i have something extra (perhaps like textile, IT, horticulture etc)

My situation is that I feel capable of studying and I can handle the workload. My mental health is mostly stable now which is good. I do not have a career goal yet which is a problem. I am interested in a lot of things, such as psychology, arts, math/stem, agriculture and horticulture, and also humanitarian and social issues.

I have some questions that I hope someone can help me with.

  1. Is it an idea to go straight into TPC without having a clear goal in mind about what I want to do with my education?
  2. Does TPC limit my options depending on the subjects that I choose to study?
  3. How well is TPC accepted for university courses, such as psychology or engineering?
  4. Would doing a Certificate III first actually help me. Would it just delay things?
  5. Are there pathways that I am not considering such, as diplomas or foundation programs?

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has done TPC or taken a -traditional path especially if you started around my age

Thank you.:)
