1st draft of my 1st screenplay. After a good 5 months of writing I got to the end and now I’m thinking about draft 2. This is my opening.

Across a decade in depression era Manhattan, a tenement kid who dreams of freedom rises from street hustler to trusted gunman, quietly running a crew that handles the cities dirtiest work - but when love offers him a way out his loyalty demands one last stand that costs him everything.
