Terrible internet speed on MacBook Air 7,2
I’m trying to switch over to Linux on an old MacBook Air, I’ve tried fedora but WiFi stuttered constantly and Bluetooth was awful so I’m trying mint. My issue right now is internet is working but is noticeably slow. Although the connection was spotty the performance was noticeably faster on fedora when attempting to load a webpage. I have the Broadcom-sta-dkms version 6.30.223.721-23ubuntu1.1 driver installed and I’ve turned off power saving in the WiFi chip. What else could be causing the slow speeds? I’m on the main cinnamon version, would Xfce help? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
