The techno Core, sensing an even graver threat to their plans in a separate universe, manages to send the first Nemas Thing to Caladan during the rule of Leto Atreides the Second. Nemas must find her way to Arrakis to kill the Emperor, but said emperors sight has already been alerted to this creature that seeks the end to his Golden Path.
