Sibling recommendations for a friendly Persian boy.

Context: we found this perfect little angel boy in the middle of the road all matted up and purring. My boyfriend and him imprinted on each other the first second they interacted - I saw it! Lol.

We’ve had him for about 5 years and he’s the friendliest most chill cat ever. Like we drive 6 hour drives with him in the car and he’s fine. We take him to family’s house where they have giant dogs and he’s fine. He has a “cousin” who’s our friends standard issue cat and they get along and play and love being together (after some normal boundary setting). We have a billion plants and he pays them no mind. We take him to the beach and park. He can do tricks like shake, sit, and we’re working on him doing a twirl. He’s like always purring.

He’s afraid (or was curious but distant) of kittens IRL or at least that’s how it seems but if we play kitten sounds he comes running all concerned.

We want to get him a sibling because he does not like to be alone. He cries when he’s alone sometimes and it’s heartbreaking.

I want to adopt a sibling for him.

We were thinking a kitten so that we could train the kitten in the car and I want to walk it on a leash. I know that most cats are not like our boy. I’ve had several cats growing up and loved them all despite different temperaments.

Given all this information, what advice can you give? Cats that would be better to train? Or cats that are more common to adopt? Houseplant tips? Litter box and food tips. Anything. Anyone with siblings for your Persians do you have tips? I know many on here have other Persians but I really want to adopt.

Thanks in advance! Yall are the best I love this community.
