Hi everyone, I just got myself a Cq md 300 for bass fishing (throwing swimbaits).

But Im going on a saltwater trip in a few weeks, and was thinking to use this as my main jigging reel with 300m of pe 3. The place I’m fishing will be around 50-80m deep, with reef and corals at the bottom, and will mainly be vertical jigging. The current is not too strong, so I’ll be using 120-200g jigs. There are GTs, Mackerel, yellow fins, and they averages 15-30lbs around there, with the occasional 50lbs GTs

Do you guys think the Cq Md 300 is good for the job? Thanks!!!
