Allergies... help!

Hello! I am looking for some natural remedies for helping with allergy symptom prevention or helping once symptoms appear.

I have always had outdoor allergies and even as a baby my mom said I was always full of boogers. I was not breastfed (I was premature and she said she couldn't produce) and my mom is the absolute opposite of crunchy. I had an allergy test done as a child and I am apparently allergic to basically all plants including the big ones like grass, pollen and ragweed.

I just had a baby last month and I didn't take any medication while pregnant- even allergy pills. Luckily most of my pregnancy was during the winter when the plants are sleeping or dead. Now I'm breastfeeding and I still have been hesitant to take medicine.

The worst part is I love being outside- hiking, walking, and all the things. It's something I'm not willing to sacrifice. Today I went for a walk with the baby and I could see the pollen floating in the air. As soon as I got home I developed a massive sinus headache and had to lay down in a dark room. I decided to get a Zyrtec and when I went to open my medicine cabinet my eyes were red. I don't want to take medicine but I don't know if I will actually survive pollen season otherwise. I took a hot steaming shower and that really helped the sinus pressure.

Give me your crunchy tips...
Except not the one where I eat local honey because I have tried that one and it has not worked. I still put honey in my tea. I have an air purifier in my bedroom and living room. I hire outside people to do my lawn so the grass allergens don't come in the house as easily. I'm trying here!
