Hey guys just want to say thanks. My hard work did it but seeing everyone else really helps and reading the struggles and tactics helps dramatically.
I started losing weight May 7th, 2025
Today is May 9th, 2026
At 74.5” or 6’2.5”/25 years old
Initial weight was 310lbs
Today’s weight is 248.9 lbs
Meaning I’ve lost 61.1lbs in 1 year or 5.1lbs per month
My initial goal was 0.25lbs a week, I did this for probably 6months and was always consistently under my goal increasing my overall weight loss. I then increased to 1lb per week as I got more comfortable with how I was going through my weight loss. Then increased to 2 lbs at the end of December to try to get below a mark I needed to meet for an activity I want to do this summer.
I just came out of the 2 lbs per week because it was so limiting, inevitably I started going over calories daily which sucked and felt bad. So I am back to 1lb per week and getting back on track.
I wish I would’ve taken more progress pictures as I didn’t start until 6months into the journey. So these two pictures are from an event I did and today in the same clothes. I am incredibly happy and proud of myself and continue to move in a direction I desire for the life I want to live.
