Hello guys, So i had a router that was pretty fast ( Asus AirMesh RT-AC86U ). but i moved countries and the isp company told me we can't use it here since the optical isn't supported for asus routers. they set me up a Nokia router which isn't that good but aint that bad either. but im experiencing packet loss, kicked out of online games. and sudden little unexpected lags. i cannot use a lan cable neither do i wanna buy those wireless lan cables they're expensive. Rn the ASUS is used as a repeater for the Nokia in places deep in the house where the Nokia can't reach. Claude AI told me that i could switch them where the ASUS becomes the main using 100% of its power. and the Nokia becomes the repeater, i honestly don't know anything about Wifi Which is why i came to reddit. He said i needed the IPPeO username and password, ive found the username just need to call the company for the password and i could switch them. but will this mess up my wifi? is it the best solution? im trying to solve the lag problem which happens in mornings where 80% of the wifi is used by everyone. if i switch to the asus i could use QoS Which can prioritize my online session over my brother's youtube. What should be my next move? Thank's for ur time!!!
