I just grilled some fresh brown trout less than 24 hours out of Lake Michigan. It was delicious. I won’t be doing it again for a little while. I ran my nexgrill 4 burner up to 500 to clean the fish oil off and when I went to brush it, the leg snapped off out of no where and the damn thing just about killed me. Not to mention the mess it made on my driveway. The grill ran fine and, though I didn’t really inspect it, didn’t have any visible issues. It’s 2 years old, kept covered and in my garage year round. I cleaned it regularly and never left it out more than enough time for me to eat and for it to cool off. This seems to happen to every grill after 3 years at most. It doesn’t matter if I get a $200 grill or a $600 grill. They always fail in different places (the one before this had the gas line split and the one before that had the bottom fall out).
What grill do I need to buy to keep it running with proper care for mort time than it takes to go through a pair of shoes?
TL/DR: What grill can I buy that will last me more than 2 years?
