Line to fridge does not have a saddle valve cut off. The line runs haphazardly through two cabinets to the back of the fridge. I’m amazed the line didn’t bust at the 45• angle. Should I replace this section of line or the entire length of line and install a saddle valve (pray for me). It’s split from the sink. Water shut off for sink occurs just after fridge line branches out.

My experience as a plumber was one summer job where I dug ditches from the water line connection to the house hookups. I’m a little clueless so any suggestions would be appreciated
