Hey everyone!
I really don’t like the gym so I’ve been doing YouTube video workouts for two months, and recently subscribed to a subscription service to start a barre program from home (I even shelled out $150 on an actual barre for my living room ). I also bought a pair of 10 lb and a pair of 4lb weights and some resistance bands.
Original goal = lose 100 lb without having to go to the gym. I’ve tried it a lot and I really hate it. I prefer to be at home in my living room or going for long hikes or walks when weather is nice.
I feel amazing after 2 months but I’ve been watching a lot of weight loss transformation stories, and almost everyone who had a very large amount of weight to lose (100lb+) has been in the gym doing large machines or some kind of CrossFit program. I’m just worried because I don’t want to set myself up for failure. If I’m following these home programs and doing healthy meals (I’m also on medication) can I build lots of women muscles or do you have to use the actual gym? Thank you yo everyone I’m never giving up so if I really have to go get a gym I will do it (just really don’t like it there)
