Is anyone interested in playing casual field games on the North Toronto CI field or other fields in the area, like Eglinton Park?
Now that the weather is getting better, it would be nice to start making use of the outdoor spaces we have in the area for some friendly and fun group exercise! I'm thinking of games with a low level of investment and barrier to entry, like soccer and frisbee, but am open to suggestions!
I would like to emphasize the casual nature of what I'm trying to organize. You can drop in on or out of any event and there won't be any serious competition. If you're looking for challenge and competition, there are lots of other teams and leagues you can join, like JAM Sports. I can also introduce you to pickleball, which has a very active scene in the area.
I hosted a similar group a few years ago and met a lot of cool people! I want to restart this group this year. Alternatively, if you know of a similar group already active in the area, I'd love to hear about it!
