I was diagnosed with Meniere's a few weeks ago and am still learning to navigate.

My biggest problem is that I don't seem to be very aware of when my hearing is degrading. Ever since I woke up with hearing loss a few months ago all I can think is that everything sounds wrong, not that they sound worse or better. When I took my second hearing test the audiologist was surprised that I hadn't noticed a dip in quality. Now that I have a diagnosis and the flurry of ENT/Audiology appointments are over I'm left to fend for myself on when my ear gets bad and I feel like I'm going crazy. I have tried to be cognizant but I'm not sure if my hearing has gotten worse or not because I don't trust myself to know. My lower frequency hearing is still in the mild loss range as of my last test but that's to be expected because of the injection site. So everything has continued to sound tinny and strange.

I think I'm having another dip in hearing loss but I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or not.

Does anyone else experience this? Should I just book an appointment to be safe?
