Hi all, I recently revived a dead Hiboy S2 pro by charging the battery on a bench. Cell packs seem balanced.
It charges from the charger and works fine but doesnt turn on again after sitting overnight. the display blips on once then it doesnt want to come on at all.
plugging in the charger didnt do anything to help (it does charge the battery) but I unplugged the charger from the wall, then from the scooter, and it started responding to the power button again. afterwards it worked fine again, rode it for a few miles without issue. the next night same issue so instead of the charger I shorted the charging port for a second and again it seemed to reset something (BMS) so the display started responding normally.
any idea of what is going on and possible solutio? I don’t mind having to do this (unintended anti-theft) but I don’t want to damage anything in the process.
