So I am constandly runing into issues with the only real Internet provider in my area. When I lose internet, i can‘t realy do anything with the typical smarthome stuff. So I am starting to setup a fallback „offline“ Server. The Plan is that i can at least Control some things when the Router is throwing a fit again. But it should also send the data the usual Apps use where they should go.
Yes, some Apps have direct controll via Bluetooth but i also use my PC for most things if I can help it. So having the local wifi work as a Proxy would be great. Also I don’t want to jailbreak the smarthome things. I just want to have my stuff funktion normaly when the Router is throwing a tantrum or the provider ran into a glasswall again.
