There’s a guy I had a huge crush on in highschool but he had a girlfriend (like I thought they were going to get married type)
He’s active military, and judging by the reels he likes I think we have a lot in common.
I really wish he would be the one to reach out, but I know women aren’t always the nicest to men when they shoot their shot, so maybe that’s why he hasn’t, or maybe I wasn’t ever a thought that crossed his mind. Part of me would rather live in fairy land where I think it’s a possibility rather than potentially taking that blow to my confidence. I’m leaning more and more towards just shooting my shot, but not knowing how to go about it is slowing me down.
I also considered asking an old friend on mine who was decently good friends with him (same grade, played same sports together) and see if he thinks I should go for it. I just haven’t talked to him in a couple years and he’s married now, so not sure how appropriate that would be (we’re late 20s btw for reference)
So do I shoot my shot? Ask the friend? How would be the best way to go about this? Do I bring up reels he has liked, or does that come off creepy? I mean it’s not my fault Instagram puts them on my feed lol
